Lucien

Lucien Snowbird

Spend a day in Florida at the beach with Lucien, Canada’s favourite blue-collar philosopher. Lucien has been a mill worker, a bar owner and now finally realizes a lifelong dream of becoming a Florida tourist. Lucien Snowbird is the third part of the Lucien trilogy. Marshall premiered this popular character in 1984 as monologue in the satirical bicentennial revue, Maritime Mixed Grill, Lucien Snowbird has played to packed houses in southern and northern Ontario. In the spring of 2005, it enjoyed a wildly successful tour with Theatre New Brunswick. Always hilarious and keeping up with current events, Lucien expounds on a cornucopia of topics including love, aging, health care, technology, politics, and the always interesting Canada/U.S. relations.
